Downtown Silver Spring is Montgomery County's first Arts & Entertainment District designated by the state of Maryland. The Arts & Entertainment District provides incentives such as tax benefits and financial assistance to bring artists and entertainers to the Silver Spring area. Today, hundreds of artists live and/or work in Silver Spring, and dozens of arts groups call Silver Spring home. Monthly Arts Walks, the Annual Magical Montomery County Arts Fair, Arts on the Block and many other programs are based in downtown Silver Spring. < Back |
