The GSSCC Residential Energy Cooperative Program is similar to Chamber’s Commercial Energy Cooperative Programs, created in 2006 with CQI Associates, an energy management and procurement company. The Cooperative Program is based on the premise that bringing Chamber members together creates the opportunity to procure energy at better rates than any single applicant can purchase on their own. It is now FREE to join the co-op. The application fee has been waived. Click here to start the application process. If you have any difficulties with the application process, contact us via email at: Residential@cqiassociates.com or call the Customer Service Line 410-740-0667. Participation in the Program REQUIRES that the employee’s company maintain continuous membership in the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce during the full term of the Agreement. If the company’s membership is not current with the Chamber, it must be brought current to participate in any proposed contract extension. Submission of the application for participation in the program does not include fees for membership in the Chamber. If the applicant’s employer’s membership is not current the application for program participation will not be processed. By completing and submitting the application, the Applicant acknowledges and agrees that neither CQI Associates, administrator of the Program, nor the Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (the “Chamber”) is liable for any fees or penalties incurred by Applicant as a result of Applicant’s failure to provide complete and accurate information as requested on the application. By submitting this application, Applicant certifies that all of the information provided in the application is true and correct, and Applicant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold CQI and the Chamber harmless from all claims for fees, costs, penalties or other claims asserted by third party electricity and natural gas suppliers. Applicant understands that the Chamber is not responsible for the negotiation of any energy contract and is not responsible for the sale or delivery of electricity or natural gas supply services. The Chamber is providing the program as a service to its members. Applicant hereby waives all claims against the Chamber arising from or relating to the Chamber’s Residential Energy Cooperative Program and this application. Back to Latest News |
